Synopsis:
The story of "The Legendary Warrior" follows the life of ancient China's famous military commander Xue Rengui (played by Pao Jie Feng) and starts when emperor Li Shiniu is enthroned. Golden years were pursued and the people of Zhenguan live in peace and prosperity. Far in the northeast, in Boliao a revolting commander tries to kill the king of Boliao, but he failed.
Meanwhile, Xue Rengui, a martial arts student have to leave his Kung Fu master Li Jing after learning several years under him. Just back home, he witness his father’s death. In mind his dying father’s last wish, becoming a honorable man, he leaves his hometown again.
Exhausted by wandering around Xue Rengui found accommodation in Xikou Village by his later blood brother Wang Maosheng and his wife. As a lowly servant in a rich family he tries to make a living. Troubles in his new master’s family forcing Xue and Jiny, the landlord’s daughter, to flee – not knowing of each others same decision. A twist of fate brings Xue and Jiny together. Later, they get married. To support his wife with more comfort, Xue decided to join the army, where his status keeps rising against all odds until he is framed and imprisoned. However, he never regrets his decision and with great determination, he proves his innocence and continues to fight for his country…
