Synopsis:
Dong-ho and Song-hwa are orphans and adopted by Yu-bong, a travelling singer. Both grow up as siblings. Later in years, Dong-ho falls in love with Song-hwa. Because of Yu-bong’s obsession, to make her a great singer and the fact, that Dong-ho has to call her as sister, Dong-ho suffers of his love to Song-hwa. So Dong-ho plans to leave their home. With his unchanging affection for Song-hwa he keeps following the traces of love, in mind to refining his drumming skills to suit with her singing.
Famous director Im Kwon-taek creates a heart-touching love story of Song-hwa, who devotes her life and love to her talent for Pansori, a traditional Korean form of narrative song, and Dong-ho, who has devoted his life for his love to Song-hwa.
